Earlier this week I had the privilege of undertaking this webinar that talked about Being Brave. Making Change. and challenging Social Workers to be brave in taking on reconciliation by first participating in truth-telling. Hearing Indigenous stories by Indigenous people. Understanding the true history. Recognising the recency of this history. Acknowledging the current trauma. And then making changes to social work practices on individual levels as well as systemic change through all the Close the Gap strategies.
