On the beautiful lands of the Wurundjeri: I am at the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation.

facilitating the Youth Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid course to some of the staff.

For those counting with me: this was course 889!

It was great to hang out at this beautiful site: the views from the board room.

Session was amazing.

Great feeeback, loads of questions, lots of laughing and sharing of experiences.

Was great to see Aunty Diane Kerr on site and Andrew Gardiner.

Can’t wait for the next session in a few weeks!

The article presents a vital discourse on mental health education within Aboriginal communities, yet it raises questions about the broader implications of such training. The focus on Youth Aboriginal Mental Health First Aid is commendable; however, one must consider how factors like The Pokies can impact mental health in these communities. Such gambling influences warrant further exploration to understand their effects.
